Interview with Mario Pacifico, Treedom Managing Director

ProPosition interviews Mario Pacifico, Treedom Managing Director, the first website that allows people to plant trees remotely and follow the progress of the project online. Treedom was funded in Florence in 2010. Since then, it has engaged with more than 1.300.000 people and 12.000 companies, which have planted more than 4.000.000 trees in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Italy. All trees are planted by local communities, thus contributing to generate social, economic and environmental benefits. 

In the interview we talk about how planting a tree can become an act of freedom, a project of female empowerment and a trigger to achieve gender equality and projects for the future.
